Income Taxes

We recorded an income tax provision of approximately $0.6 million and $2.0 million during the three and nine months endedSeptember 30, 2017, respectively, and an income tax provision of approximately $0.6 million and $1.5 million for the three and nine months endedSeptember 30, 2016, respectively, primarily due to state and foreign income tax expense and federal tax expense related to tax amortization of acquired indefinite lived intangible assets.
