Item 8.01 Other Events

On December 20, 2023, the board of directors of Red Trail Energy, LLC (the "Company") declared a cash distribution of $0.15 per membership unit to the holders of units of record at the close of business on December 20, 2023 for a total distribution of $6,022,224. The Company expects to pay the distribution in January 2024.
