The above includes approximately $73,000 of equipment located at our research facility in China. Property and equipment are recorded at cost and are depreciated using the straight-line method over the estimated useful lives of the respective assets. Depreciation expense for the years ended December 31, 2015, 2014, and 2013 was approximately $148,000, $137,000, and $126,000 respectively.
