Item 8.01 Other Events.
On May 8, 2007, VeraSun Energy Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release to announce that it intends to offer $450 million aggregate principal amount of Senior Notes due 2014 and 2017 (the “Notes”), to be offered pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and Regulation S thereunder.
A press release announcing the offering of the Notes is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
