On June 15, 2006, Brookdale Senior Living Inc. issued a press release, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit 99.1, announcing that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common stock of $0.35 per share for the quarter ending June 30, 2006, payable on July 17, 2006 to holders of record of Brookdale Senior Living's common stock on June 30, 2006.

Brookdale Announces Common Stock Dividend of $0.35

Per Share for the Second Quarter

 

Chicago, IL. June 15, 2006 – Brookdale Senior Living Inc. (NYSE: BKD) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common stock of $0.35 per share for the quarter ending June 30, 2006. The $0.35 per share dividend is payable on July 17, 2006 to holders of record of Brookdale’s common stock on June 30, 2006.
