Kevin R. Hoben, President and CEO, indicated the Company’s 1st Quarter Revenues were down $6,330,000 (38.5%) from Revenues in the 1st Quarter 2008, and Net Income decreased $1,677,000 (81.1%) over the same period.

Revenue for the three-months ended March 31, 2009 reflects the continued ebb of the residential construction industry, which was offset some by emerging products and market penetration. Although profitable and well positioned with a strong balance sheet through the first quarter of 2009, the Company’s results were less than the prior year mostly due to volume related manufacturing burdens and increases in certain marketing activities.
