Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.

On December 22, 2008, the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco ("Bank") published a communication to members announcing that the Bank's practice of declaring a dividend for each quarter prior to the end of the quarter and publishing a projected dividend rate prior to the end of the quarter will not be followed for the fourth quarter of 2008 as further discussed in the member communication, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
