Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure

On June 29, 2006, the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco submitted a comment letter to the Federal Housing Finance Board regarding the proposed rule, "Excess Stock Restrictions and Retained Earnings Requirements for the Federal Home Loan Banks." A copy of the comment letter is furnished as Exhibit 99.1.
