Item 8.01.   Other Events.

On August 16, 2017, Green Plains Inc. announced that its board of directors approved a quarterly cash dividend of $0.12 per share on the company’s common stock. The dividend is payable on September 15, 2017, to shareholders of record at  the close of business on August 28, 2017.

OMAHA, Neb.,Aug.16, 2017(GLOBE NEWSWIRE) Green Plains Inc.(NASDAQ:GPRE)today announced that its board of directors declared a  quarterly cash dividend of $0.12 per share on the company’s common stock,  payable on Sept.  15, 2017, to shareholders of record at the close of business on Aug. 28, 2017.
