News America Incorporated Further Extends Debt Exchange Offer with Respect to 6.40% Senior Notes Due 2035

NEW YORK, NY, June 2, 2006 -- News America Incorporated (the "Company") today announced that it has further extended until June 9, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. EST the expiration date of its offer to exchange (i) up to US $1,150,000,000 of its 6.40% Senior Notes due 2035 for an equal amount of its privately placed 6.40% Senior Notes due 2035 (CUSIP Nos. 652482 BK 5 and U65249 AM 3) issued on December 23, 2005. The exchange offer initially had been scheduled to expire at 5:00 p.m. EST, May 26, 2006 but was extended to 5:00 p.m. EST, June 2, 5:00 p.m.
