Item 7.01.  Regulation FD Disclosure.

Education Realty Trust, Inc. intends to disclose updated pre-leasing statistics for the 2010/2011 academic year for its Same-communities (excluding Place-communities), Place-communities and Same-communities – wholly owned. A copy of such information is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
