SHANGHAI, September 21, 201751job, Inc. (Nasdaq: JOBS) (“51job” or the “Company”), a leading provider of integrated human resource services in China, announced today that the Company has entered into an agreement to become the majority shareholder of Lagou Information Limited, the holding company incorporated in the Cayman Islands of Beijing Lagou Network Technology Co., Ltd. (“Lagou”). Founded in 2013, Lagou operates a recruitment website focused on addressing the growing demand for technology and engineering talent in China. The Company will acquire a 60% equity interest in the parent company of Lagou for US$119 million in cash, and the transaction is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2017, subject to closing conditions.
