“Northwestern Mineral Ventures Inc. (TSX-V: NWT; OTCBB: NWTMF) today announced that Erik Martin, the company’s Chief Financial Officer, has submitted his resignation, effective July 31, 2007, in order to pursue other professional opportunities.

“On behalf of Northwestern’s management team and Board of Directors, I would like to thank Erik for his contributions to the company,” said Northwestern President and Chief Executive Officer Marek J. Kreczmer. “We wish Erik continued success in all of his future endeavors.”
