Prospect Energy Corporation Announces Dismissal of All Dallas Gas Partners Claims

NEW YORK, NY -- 02/21/2006 -- Prospect Energy Corporation (NASDAQ: PSEC) announced today that the United States District Judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Galveston Division, has issued an order granting Prospect's Motion for Summary Judgment dismissing all claims by Dallas Gas Partners, L.P., against Prospect Energy Corporation. The judge's ruling is available from the federal court system's website, Public Access to Court Electronic Records, located at https://ecf.txsd.uscourts.gov/cgi-bin/login.pl.
