RESIGNATION OF CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

New York, NY – January 14, 2008 – Town Sports International Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) (NASDAQ: CLUB) today announced that Randall Stephen has resigned as the Company’s Chief Operating Officer.
