Item 7.01    Regulation FD Disclosure.

On August 2, 2018, Regions Bank (“Regions”) sent a redemption notice to Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas, which will result in the redemption on August 14, 2018 of the 2.250% Senior Notes due September 14, 2018 of Regions (the “Notes”) pursuant to their terms, at an aggregate redemption price equal to the sum of 100% of the principal amount of the Notes being redeemed and any accrued and unpaid interest to the redemption date. The aggregate principal amount of the Notes outstanding is $750 million. The redemption will be funded with cash on hand.

In accordance with general instruction B.2 of Form 8-K, this information is being furnished and shall not be deemed filed for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
