ANNOUNCES FOURTH QUARTER AND FISCAL YEAR 2012 EARNINGS RELEASE

AND CONFERENCE CALL

New York, NY – April 26, 2012 – Apollo Investment Corporation (NASDAQ: AINV) (the “Company”) announced today that it will report fourth quarter and fiscal year results for the period ended March 31, 2012 at approximately 7:30 a.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, May 23, 2012.
