On March 13, 2012, Corpbanca held an ordinary meeting of the Board of Directors.  At the ordinary meeting, Corpbanca scheduled an Extraordinary Shareholders Meeting to be held on April 10, 2012 to approve a capital increase in the amount of 48,000,000,000 shares.  The purpose of the capital increase is to raise funds in connection with the proposed acquisition of Banco Santander Colombia, S.A.
