On October 4, 2018, Itaú Corpbanca issued a press release announcing that it will release its results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2018, before the market opens in Santiago and in New York on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, and inviting investors to join a conference call regarding the results on Monday, November 5, 2018. The press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

Santiago, Chile, October 4, 2018. ITAÚ CORPBANCA (NYSE: ITCB; SSE: ITAUCORP) announced today that it will release its results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2018, before the market opens in Santiago and in New York on Wednesday, October 31, 2018.

On Monday, November 5, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. Santiago time (10:00 A.M. ET), the Company's management team will host a conference call to discuss the financial results. The merger with Banco Itaú Chile and the business combination of our two banks in Colombia, represent the continued success of our regionalization process.

As of August 31, 2018, according to the Chilean Superintendency of Banks, Itaú Corpbanca was the fourth largest private bank in Chile in terms of the overall size of its customer loan portfolio, equivalent to 10.4% market share.

As of July 31, 2018, according to the Colombian Superintendency of Finance, Itaú Corpbanca Colombia was the seventh largest bank in Colombia in terms of total loans and also the seventh largest bank in Colombia in terms of total deposits, as reported under local regulatory and accounting principles. As of the same date, its market share by loans reached 4.8%.
