KRONOS WORLDWIDE ANNOUNCES
COMMON STOCK OFFERING

DALLAS, TEXAS…October 18, 2010… Kronos Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE:KRO) today announced that it plans to publicly offer 7.8 million shares of its common stock.  The Company also plans to grant the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 1.17 million shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any.  The Company intends to use the net proceeds of this offering for general corporate purposes, which may include possible acquisitions of additional TiO2 facilities that may become available in the future.
