On April 22, 2019, Patrick Machado provided SCYNEXIS, Inc. with notice that, after consideration of where best to focus his efforts, he has decided not to stand for re-election to the SCYNEXIS Board of Directors (the “Board”) at the 2019 Annual Meeting. Mr. Machado has served on the Board since 2015 and will serve out the remainder of his term.
