Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On July 6, 2012, in connection with the completion of an acquisition from Nationstar Mortgage LLC (“Nationstar”) of a 65% interest in the monthly cash flows, net of a base fee paid to Nationstar, generated by mortgage servicing rights from Aurora Bank FSB (a subsidiary of Lehman Brothers Bankcorp Inc.), Newcastle Investment Corp. posted a presentation in the Investor Relations section of its website, www.newcastleinv.com.
