On August 11, 2023, Wynn Resorts, Limited ("Wynn Resorts") issued a press release regarding WynnBet, the online sports betting and iGaming platform operated by Wynn Resorts' subsidiary, Wynn Interactive Ltd. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is hereby incorporated by reference.

Wynn Resorts Announces Reduction Of WynnBET Markets

LAS VEGAS (August 11, 2023) – Wynn Resorts, Limited (NASDAQ: WYNN) announced today its decision to close its online sports betting and iGaming platform, WynnBET, in certain jurisdictions.

“In light of the continued requirement for outsized marketing spend through user acquisition and promotions in online sports betting, we believe there are higher and better uses of capital deployment for Wynn Resorts shareholders,” said Julie Cameron-Doe, Chief Financial Officer of Wynn Resorts.

“While we believe in the long-term prospects of iGaming, the dearth of iGaming legislation and the presence of numerous other investment opportunities available to us around the globe have led us to the decision to curtail our capital investment in WynnBET to focus primarily on those states where we maintain a physical presence,” she continued.

Working with its regulators and patrons, the Company will seek to cease operations in Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Louisiana, New Jersey, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia as soon as possible. Operations in Nevada and Massachusetts will continue unaffected and operations in New York and Michigan remain under review.

Wynn Macau is a luxury hotel and casino resort located in the Macau Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China with two luxury hotel towers with a total of 1,010 spacious rooms and suites, approximately 252,000 square feet of casino space, 14 food and beverage outlets, approximately 31,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, approximately 59,000 square feet of retail space, and recreation and leisure facilities including two opulent spas, a salon and a rotunda show.

Wynn Palace is a luxury integrated resort in Macau. Designed as a floral-themed destination, it boasts 1,706 exquisite rooms, suites and villas, approximately 424,000 square feet of casino space, 14 food and beverage outlets, approximately 37,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, approximately 107,000 square feet of designer retail, SkyCabs that traverse an eight-acre Performance Lake, an extensive collection of rare art, a lush spa, salon and recreation and leisure facilities.
