Tan Range Chairman Completes His Participation in Aggregate

 US$2.5 Million Private Placement

Tan Range Exploration Corporation confirms that the private placement by Mr. Sinclair, Chairman and CEO, announced on February 3, 2006, for 183,440 common shares at a price of C$7.844 per share has now closed.  

Inclusive of the proceeds of this private placement, Mr. Sinclair’s total share placements to date aggregate C$8,838,903.

The private placement common shares are subject to certain mandated hold periods and resale restrictions and the certificates representing such shares are legended accordingly.  No warrants, options or other rights have been issued or granted in connection with this placement.
