Tan Range Chairman Completes Twenty Fourth Tranche of Private Placement

Tan Range Exploration Corporation confirms that the twenty fourth tranche of the private placement by James E. Sinclair, the Company's Chairman and CEO, announced on February 3, 2005 has now closed.  

Inclusive of the proceeds of the twenty fourth tranche, Mr. Sinclair’s total share placements to date aggregate $3,950,000.  Mr. Sinclair’s investment reflects his continued confidence in and commitment to Tan Range’s endeavours.

The placement common shares are subject to certain mandated hold periods and resale restrictions and the certificates representing such shares are legended accordingly.

No warrants, options or other rights have been issued or granted in connection with this placement.
