b. Revaluation of investment in non-marketable equity securities:

The Company recorded a loss of $870 in 2018 related to revaluation of its investment in non-marketable equity securities. During the years ended December 31, 2019 and 2020, no impairment loss was identified.

The following table summarizes the total carrying value of the Company’s investment in non-marketable equity securities held as of December 31, 2020 including cumulative unrealized downward adjustments made to the initial cost basis of the investment:
