Item 8.01 Other Events.

On August 31, 2010, the Puerto Rico Health Insurance Administration notified Triple-S Salud, Inc. ("Triple-S"), the managed care subsidiary of Triple-S Management Corporation, that the proposal submitted by Triple-S for the Government of Puerto Rico’s Reform (Medicaid) business was not selected.
