Item 8.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On July 20, 2015, MPLX LP (“MPLX”) and MarkWest Energy Partners, L.P. (“MWE”) announced the provision of supplemental information relating to their previously announced entry into a definitive merger agreement pursuant to which MWE would become a wholly owned subsidiary of MPLX. The full text of the press release and the related investor presentation are included as Exhibit 99.1 and Exhibit 99.2, respectively, to this Current Report on Form 8-K and are incorporated into this Item 8.01 by reference.
