NOTE N—SEGMENT AND GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION

 

The Company operates in one reportable segment. The Company’s Chief Executive Officer, who is considered to be the chief operating decision maker, manages the Company’s operations as a whole and reviews financial information presented on a consolidated basis, accompanied by information about product revenue, for purposes of evaluating financial performance and allocating resources.

 

The following tables set forth the Company’s revenue and asset information by geographic region. Revenue is classified based on the location of where the product is manufactured. The Company serves four primary markets, the internet data center, CATV, FTTH  and telecom markets. Of the Company’s total revenues in 2016, the Company earned $201.3 million, or 77.2%, from the internet data center market, $43.6 million, or 16.7%, from the CATV market, $1.6 million, or 0.6%, from the FTTH market and $12.9 million, or 5.0%, from the telecom market.   Of the Company’s total revenues in 2015, the Company earned $123.2 million, or 64.9%, from the internet data center market, $53.7 million, or 28.3%, from the CATV market, $2.5 million, or 1.3%, from the FTTH market and $9.7 million, or 5.1%, from the telecom market. Of the Company’s total revenues in 2014, the Company earned $64.4 million, or 49.4%, from the internet data center market, $47.4 million, or 36.3%, from the CATV market, $13.6 million, or 10.4%, from the FTTH market and $3.9 million, or 3.0%, from the telecom market.
