Employee Benefit Plan	(12) Employee Benefit Plan The Company sponsors the Aspen Aerogels, Inc. 401(k) Plan. Under the terms of the plan, the Company’s employees may contribute a percentage of their pretax earnings. During the years ended December 31, 2016 and 2015, the Company provided matching contributions of $0.2 million and $0.1 million, respectively. During the year ended December 31, 2014, the Company did not provided matching contributions nor did it make any contributions to the plan.
