Retirement of Chief Accounting Officer

On November 30, 2015, Alere Inc. (the “Company”) announced that Carla Flakne will retire from her position as Chief Accounting Officer of the Company effective as of March 31, 2016. A replacement to fill the role of Chief Accounting Officer of the Company effective as of April 1, 2016 has not yet been identified by the Company.
