Landmark Bancorp, Inc. Renews Stock Repurchase Plan

 

(Manhattan, KS, February 12, 2008) Landmark Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: LARK) announced that its board of directors approved a new stock repurchase program enabling management to repurchase up to 119,900 shares, or 5% of its outstanding stock.  The board of directors approved the new program because it believes that the Company’s stock continues to be an excellent value.  Landmark Bancorp, Inc. currently has approximately 2.4 million common shares outstanding.  The Company may repurchase shares in open market purchases or in privately negotiated transactions in accordance with applicable insider trading and other securities laws and regulations.  The timing and extent to which the Company repurchases its shares will depend upon market conditions and other corporate considerations as may be considered in the Company’s sole discretion.

 

                                                Landmark Bancorp, Inc. is the holding company for Landmark National Bank.  Landmark National Bank has branches in Manhattan (2), Auburn, Dodge City (2), Fort Scott, Garden City, Great Bend (2), Hoisington, Junction City, LaCrosse, Lawrence, Louisburg, Osage City, Osawatomie, Paola, Topeka (2) and Wamego, Kansas.
