On March 31, 2008, Stephen L. Spotts notified the Board of Directors of Genoptix, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Genoptix”) of his decision not to stand for re-election at Genoptix’s 2008 annual meeting of stockholders due to other personal and business obligations. Mr. Spotts will continue to serve a director of Genoptix until the 2008 annual meeting of stockholders, which is scheduled to be held on June 17, 2008.
