LICENSE AGREEMENTS	LICENSE AGREEMENTS In October 2019, the Company granted a non-exclusive license to J. R. Simplot ("Simplot"), to evaluate three of the Company's novel traits in potato. Under the license agreement, Simplot plans to conduct research with the yield traits C3003, C3004 and C4001 within its research and development program as a strategy to improve crop performance and sustainability. In September 2022, the Company and Simplot amended the license agreement in order to extend it for a fourth year. In August 2020, the Company entered into a non-exclusive research agreement with GDM ("GDM"), a company specializing in plant genetics, to evaluate novel traits in soybean. Under the terms of the agreement, GDM is working with the Company's yield traits within its research and development program as a strategy to improve soybean yield performance and sustainability. The research agreement includes three novel yield traits in the first phase with the potential to expand the program to more traits in the future. Neither of these research arrangements provide significant licensing revenue to the Company while the third parties perform trait evaluations.
