Costs for defined contribution pension plans were $5.3 million and $16.1 million for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2012, respectively, and were $9.8 million for the nine months ended September 30, 2011.  A reduction in defined contribution pension plans accruals created a benefit of $0.1 million for the three months ended September 30, 2011. Benefit costs for other post retirement plans were not significant during the periods presented.
