Petrobras on Climate Supplement

Rio de Janeiro, March 29, 2023 – Petróleo Brasileiro S.A.- Petrobras informs that today it released the new edition of its Climate Supplement. The document details information regarding Petrobras' emissions performance in 2022, in addition to the progress made in indicators related to climate change commitments. The Climate Supplement also presents how the challenges of climate change are reflected in the company's strategies, risk management and decarbonization initiatives.

 

Petrobras is following its trajectory of progressive reduction of absolute greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, which have fallen 39% since 2015.

 

The new edition of the Climate Supplement is aligned with the guidelines of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and details the company's strategy to achieve the ambition of operational emissions neutrality by 2050, as well as detailing the advances in our sustainability commitments related to emissions.
