Construction in progress as of December 31, 2018 and March 31, 2019 consisted of the following:

Construction in progress as of December 31, 2018 and March 31, 2019 was mainly comprised of capital expenditures for the construction of the facilities and production lines of CBAK Power.

For the three months ended March 31, 2018 and 2019, the Company capitalized interest of $358,929 and $350,672, respectively, to the cost of construction in progress.
