Item 5.02  Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.  

Effective as of April 10, 2018, Basic Energy Services, Inc. (the “Company”) appointed Brett Taylor as its Vice President - Completion Services. In connection with Mr. Taylor’s new position at the Company, Mr. Taylor’s base salary increased from $285,000 to $320,000 to be effective as of Tuesday, April 10th, 2018.
