2. Acquisitions

In 2014 and during the first nine months of 2015, Basic acquired substantially all of the assets of the following business, which was accounted for using the purchase method of accounting.The following table summarizes the values for the acquisition at the date of acquisition (in thousands):

The operations of the acquisitions listed above are included in Basic’s consolidated statement of operations as of theeach respective closing date.The pro forma effect of the acquisition completed in the first nine months of 2015 is not material, either individually or when aggregated, to the reported results of operations. The provisional value used with respect to Harbor Resources, LLC, Aerion Rental, LLC and Grey Rock Pressure Pumping, LLC will be finalized once the valuation of the tangible and intangible assets is complete.
