Subsequent Events [Text Block]	Subsequent Event In July 2013, QEP Energy entered into a Purchase and Sale Agreement related to the disposition of certain of its non-core properties in the Southern Region for a purchase price of $66.8 million before purchase price adjustments. The Company expects to close the transaction in the third quarter of 2013.
