     On April 30, 2001, Rediff.com India Limited ("Rediff") issued a press
release announcing the completion of the acquisition of more than 95% of the
outstanding voting shares of India Abroad Publications Inc., a New York
corporation. A copy of the related press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and
incorporated herein by reference.
