Amortization expense is calculated over the estimated useful life of the asset. Aggregate amortization expense for intangible assets was $0.9 million and $0.7 million for the three months ended September 30, 2021 and 2020, respectively, and $2.2 million and $2.1 million for the nine months ended September 30, 2021 and 2020, respectively. For the three and nine months ended September 30, 2021 and 2020, respectively, a portion of this amortization is included in cost of revenue.
