On July 18, 2006, SimpleTech, Inc. (the “Registrant”) issued a press release to announce its preliminary financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2006. A copy of the press release issued by the Registrant on July 18, 2006 is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
