Other Events
     On or about April 9, 2009, STATS ChipPAC Ltd. (the “Company”) began distribution of the Company’s Notice of Fifteenth Annual General Meeting to be held on April 27, 2009, Proxy Statement, and Annual Report to Shareholders for the Year 2008.
     The Company’s Annual Report to Shareholders for the Year 2008 is accompanied by its letter to shareholders and consists of an abridged Management Discussion and Analysis, financial statements for the fiscal year ended December 28, 2008 and certain supplementary information.
     The Company’s complete Management Discussion and Analysis and financial statements for the fiscal year ended December 28, 2008 were included in the Company’s annual report on Form 20-F filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission on March 9, 2009. Copies of the Company’s Notice of Fifteenth Annual General Meeting and Proxy Statement, and Annual Report to Shareholders for the Year 2008 are attached as Exhibit 99.1 and Exhibit 99.2, respectively.
