TAN AI CHING

Singapore and United States, September 10, 2004 – STATS ChipPAC Ltd. (“STATS ChipPAC” – NNM: STTS and SGX: ST Assembly), a leading independent semiconductor test and advanced packaging service provider, today announced the resignation of Eleana Tan Ai Ching as alternate director to Tay Siew Choon, with effect from September 10, 2004.
