(b) On February 21, 2006, Director Alan W. Aldworth notified Arbitron Inc. (the "Company") that he would not stand for reelection at the Company’s 2007 Annual Meeting of Stockholders, which will be held on May 15, 2007. Mr. Aldworth’s decision not to stand for reelection was not the result of any disagreement with the Company related to its operations, policies, or practices.
