(“OXIS”) entered into an engagement letter with Burrill & Company, LLC, an investment banking and asset management firm based in San Francisco, California (“Burrill”).  OXIS has engaged Burrill to explore strategic alternatives and advise OXIS with respect to potential merger and acquisitions, partnering/licensing transactions and financing transactions.
