ITEM 7.01 REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE

On April 23, 2020, the registrant issued a news release announcing the estimated impact from the Covid-19 pandemic (“Pandemic”) on its first quarter 2020 results. For the first quarter of 2020, Everest expects to report a combined ratio below 100% for consolidated reinsurance and insurance operations, including an estimate of $150 million in pre-tax net first party losses for expected claims related to the Pandemic, and net investment income of $148 million. A copy of that news release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
