Acquisition	16. ACQUISITION In April 2016 the Company purchased substantially all of the assets of BenBilt, a distributor and door fabricator in the Mid-Atlantic region for $17.3 million. All transaction costs incurred as part of this acquisition were expensed. The Company recorded property, plant and equipment of $4.5 million, goodwill of $3.2 million and other intangible assets of $6.7 million related to this purchase.

The entire disclosure for a business combination (or series of individually immaterial business combinations) completed during the period, including background, timing, and recognized assets and liabilities. The disclosure may include leverage buyout transactions (as applicable).
