10. ACQUISITION

During the second quarter of 2016 the Company purchased the assets of a distributor and door fabricator in the Mid-Atlantic region.  All transaction costs incurred as part of this acquisition were expensed. The Company preliminarily recorded goodwill of $3.2 million and other intangible assets of $6.7 million related to this acquisition.
